Just in time for Tartan Day (April 6), a recipe for a traditional Scottish desert.
2 oz. lightly toasted medium oatmeal
4 tablespoons whisky
3 tablespoons clear heather honey
8 oz. raspberries
6 oz. heavy cream
Mix oatmeal, whisky, and 1 tablespoon of honey in bowl; let soak 12 hours.
Whip cream. Half fill four glasses with cream, place raspberries on top. Spoon the oatmeal mixture over this. Cover with remaining cream. Pour rest of honey over and garnish with raspberries.
